Terms of Service

The baseline rules for using EduQuest accounts, quizzes, AI tools, payments, and school workflows.

Last updated: May 16, 2026

Use the platform responsibly

EduQuest supports learning, assessment, and teacher-led practice workflows.

Review AI output

AI can be useful, but important educational decisions need human judgment.

Protect accounts

Keep credentials private and follow school or organization requirements.

Understand paid features

Plans, credits, and quotas may apply to higher-volume workflows.

These terms are written for the practical ways people use EduQuest: students practicing, teachers generating and grading quizzes, schools coordinating learning programs, and teams managing paid usage.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing EduQuest, creating an account, taking a quiz, inviting learners, uploading content, or purchasing credits, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you use EduQuest on behalf of a school, company, tutoring program, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account.

Students should use EduQuest with appropriate parent, guardian, teacher, school, or institutional involvement where required by law or school policy.

3. AI-Assisted Educational Tools

EduQuest uses AI to draft quizzes, generate explanations, assist grading, summarize patterns, and support learning workflows. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate for a particular learning context.

Teachers, tutors, schools, students, and families should review AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions. EduQuest does not guarantee academic outcomes, competition results, grades, admissions results, or scholarship outcomes.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload or create, such as notes, PDFs, questions, answers, prompts, and class materials.

You grant EduQuest permission to host, process, display, analyze, transform, and store that content as needed to provide the service, operate support, protect the platform, and improve product quality.

5. Payments, Credits, and Plans

Some features may require paid plans, subscriptions, payment processing, or usage credits. Prices, availability, quotas, and plan features may change over time.

Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or where EduQuest determines that a billing or platform error occurred.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use EduQuest to violate laws, infringe rights, upload harmful content, compromise security, scrape protected areas, overload the service, or misrepresent AI-generated material as independently verified human work.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access when needed to protect users, schools, data, platform integrity, or legal compliance.

7. Limitation of Liability

EduQuest is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduQuest is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, academic opportunity, or educational outcomes.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as EduQuest changes. When updates are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users or administrators. Continued use of EduQuest after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page or to support@edu-quest.ai.
